FlyaDoc
FlyaDoc hands a file from one person to another and keeps proof it arrived. You claim an address, a short handle that is yours, and anyone can fly you a file to it from their browser. Every transfer is witnessed: both sides fingerprint the file, and DocButterfly records whether the two fingerprints matched.
Where the files land
A file flown to your address waits in your FlyaDoc box. You can also have each one delivered on to a drive you already use, through a connection:
- OneDrive
- SharePoint: a document library in your organization, chosen after you sign in
- Google Drive
- Box
- Dropbox
A drive connection is made by signing in to the drive; nothing is pasted. How connections work.
For builders
FlyaDoc is used in the browser: the box, the sending page and the receipts are all pages, set up and read in the portal. It is not part of the API reference today. What you can build on is where the files end up: once they land in a drive, the drive connection's read operations and the workflows pick them up from there.
Who can open a file, and what the receipt does and does not claim, are on the FlyaDoc page. Read that before you promise anything about FlyaDoc to your own customers.
