DocWebForm
A web form at its own address. A visitor fills it in, and each submission goes where you chose when you set it up: your email, or one of the connections on your account. Every submission is recorded, and one that cannot reach its destination is held where you can see it and send it again.
The parts of a form
| Part | What it is |
|---|---|
| The fields | What the visitor fills in. You import them from a page that already has a form on it, or start blank and add them one at a time. |
| The destination | Where each submission goes: your email, or a connection such as a SharePoint library or a workflow that writes to your drive or database. |
| The address | Publishing gives the form its own web address to share. Nothing on the page shows the visitor your connection or its credential. |
| The receipt | A record of which fields were shown and which answers came back, that both sides can keep. |
Where to start
- Make the connection the answers should go to, if it is not email. Make a connection.
- Open the setup wizard. It walks you through your information, how to start, the fields, where the answers go, and publishing.
- Share the address it gives you. Submissions and failures are in your forms.
